Smart Infinity, the premium postpaid brand of Philippine mobile leader Smart Communications (Smart), last week reintroduced a revamped set of plans, tailor-fit for the more affluent segment of the market.
Starting May 19, Smart Infinity offers 4 new choices that lets subscribers live beyond limits.
The first is called the Roaming Plan which targets frequent travelers. Starting at Plan 5000 it gives a 10percent discount roaming when calling from overseas, Php 3505 of consumable load and a 5 GB data allocation, and 10 free roaming SMS.
Plan 8000 meanwhile gives you the same data allocation and roaming discount rate, but gives you Php 6505 consumable and 20 free roaming SMS.
The Consumable Plan, is for heavy mobile users looking for flexible elements and the highest volume allocation for LTE with 30GB of data every month. The plan starts at 3500, with 2505 of that consumable, along with 200 free SMS messages; Plan 5000 with 4005 and 400 free SMS to 400; and plan 8000 with yields 7005 worth of consumables and 400 SMS messages on top of thier 30GB of data a month.
For those who always want to be in touch with their friends and family through unlimited text and calls the Tri-Net Plan is the perfect plan. It starts with Prestige 5000 giving them a consumable amount of PhP3150 and unlimited calls and SMS to Smart, Sun and Talk ‘N Text subscribers and 5GB data allocation while Premium 8000 offers a consumable amount of Php 6150, unlimited calls and SMS to Smart, Sun and Talk ‘N Text subscribers and 5GB data allocation.
Finally there’s the Multi-Plan which comes with multiple lines under a single account allowing parents to always keep in touch with their kids and loved ones. The Primary Line 5000 gets 4000 worth of consumables, unlimited voice calls within the calling circle (supplementary lines) and 30GB of data a month.
“These new plans are, by far, the most carefully designed services we’ve offered in the history of Smart Infinity. This is the result of us ‘listening’ intently and responding to what subscribers need from a premium mobile service provider — given their lifestyle, their habits, even their aspirations,” said Julie Carceller, head of Smart Infinity.
The move is expected to sustain Smart’s strong start in the postpaid segment this year. The telco’s parent company PLDT continues to lead the postpaid market through its wireless units Smart and Sun — with total postpaid subscribers of 2.9 million as of the first quarter of 2015, or an 18% rise versus the same period last year.
The same wireless units also boosted PLDT’s cellular postpaid revenues to P5.7 billion during the first quarter of the year, or an 11% year-on-year growth.

With the new range of postpaid plans available, Smart Infinity subscribers will continue enjoying the superior Smart network, especially for mobile data use.
