MIDNIGHT MEETINGS Releases “SA AKING PAGPIKIT”

“Sa Aking Pagkapit” marks the return of the band and the track went up to the number one spot in the Spotify Viral 50 Charts for 2 weeks following its worldwide premiere a couple of months ago.

The first verse of the song says it all – “Bakit ba naman kasi hindi tayo pwede? Pero bagay naman tayo mali nga lang ang tiyempo”. Singer Ashley Gosienfiao’s voice sure makes this line more potent than it already is.

The single is currently available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and Deezer; distributed by Warner Music Philippines.

Other than music, the members of Midnight Meetings wanted to pursue fashion, photography, writing, the culinary arts, graphic design, business, filmmaking, ninjutsu, and bushido. It was boredom with their day jobs that led Ken Estioko (lead guitar) and Ralph De Guzman (drums and backing vocals) to discuss the possibility of forming a band together. Former schoolmates Ashley Gosiengfiao (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Guada Tagalog (bass) needed a little convincing, but after a few capos lock-heavy meetings on Facebook (at midnight, no less), Midnight Meetings was born. A year later, Len Calvo (keyboards) joined in on the fun no less.
