Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC) further strengthened its market leadership in Printers and Projectors as it revealed its latest product lineup at the recently held “Envision Innovation Today.”
Held at the Grand Ballroom of City of Dreams, the grand gathering served as a fete for customers and partners to be the first to see its latest line of projectors and printers that will further advance Epson’s position as an industry game-changer.
According to FutureSource Consulting, the leading research and forecasting company for consumer electronics, entertainment, and education, Epson Philippines has captured 31% market leadership and has joined many Epson companies worldwide that contributed to the brand’s unprecedented 14 consecutive years of global leadership in the projector category.

“As the Filipino’s brand of choice in both the projector and printer categories, we are pleased to share that innovations in technology have allowed Epson to once again improve on these products lines — offering more durable and even more reliable products for our customers,” said EPC Head for Marketing Division Ed Bonoan.
As an innovations pioneer, Epson developed the 3LCD technology for projectors that has remained as the gold standard worldwide for the past 14 years. The new Epson projectors unveiled during the event are brighter than before, with 3000 lumens as the new minimum Color Brightness or color light output. Color Brightness is an important measurement of red, green and blue light measured in lumens. Because of Epson’s proprietary 3LCD technology, its projectors deliver the same high level of Color Brightness and White Brightness to deliver vivid and realistic colors.
“Aside from increased lumens, the new Epson projectors offer longer lamp life and increased contrast ratio. And this new-generation Epson projectors also include Epson’s first WUXGA resolution in the entry level projectors. WUXGA stands for Wide Ultra Extended Graphics Array, a technology with a display resolution of 1920×1200 pixels with a 16:10 screen aspect ratio. This ensures that a small investment for even our entry level projectors will give Epson customers a brighter and clearer view similar to high-end monitors and HDTV,” explained EPC Product Manager (PM) for Visual Imaging, Lyn Lizarondo.
Epson is also the proponent of the customer-focused Epson L-series, the world’s first genuine Ink Tank System Printers. Still unsurpassed in quality, value, and low cost of ownership in the country, the latest Epson L-Series printers are designed to be even more durable and reliable, backed up with an exclusive offer for an extended warranty of 1+1.
“All the new L-Series printers come with the assurance of durability and reliability with our unique 1+1 extended warranty on ink tank printers. For customers who will avail of this exclusive Epson offer, this will effectively extend the warranty on their new Epson L-Series printers to two (2) years,” revealed EPC PM for Inkjet Printers, Russer Cabrera.
Also included in the new printer line is the Epson L655, powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore technology that guarantees flexibility to deliver high-speed solutions, superior output quality, and durability on the widest range of media. With its genuine black ink pigment and cost-saving Duplex Printing feature, it is a perfect solution for document printing requirements of businesses, where print quality and cost-efficiency are equally important.
During the unveiling of the company’s new generation printers and projectors, Epson also underlined its continuing commitment to create more products with the end-user in mind, integrating the level of quality customers expect through high-precision, highly-efficient production lines that use advanced mechatronics and optical technologies.
“As the leading brand in the Philippines for printers and projectors, Epson knows that we have to continue living up to the love and support of Filipinos for Epson products. This inspires us to keep bringing in great and useful technologies that not only reflect customer feedback, but also exceed their expectations,” concluded Epson Southeast Asia Managing Director and EPC President & Country Manager Toshimitsu Tanaka.
