Its been almost almost 13 years since Toni Gonzaga first screamed that now infamous line “I love you Piolo!” in a Sprite commercial and eight years since Toni moved to ABS-CBN.
Finally, Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual get their chance to test their big screen chemistry as they lead the cast of Star Cinema’s upcoming Valentine’s Movie Starting Over Again.
“It’s definitely worth the wait.” was how Piolo described the upcoming movie, and judging from the more than half a million views its trailer generated on YouTube the day it was uploaded, it looks like a lot of people have been waiting for it too.

Piolo said the one-of-a-kind movie took more than six months to make in a radio interview with dzMM’s Ahwel Paz.
The Kapamilya actor adds that he has done many love stories and dramas, but “Starting Over Again,” stands out because of its modern and contemporary setting. SOURCE
“When you go to a movie you want to be able to identify what’s happening, relate to the character who goes through certain situations with a loved one, partner or whoever they’re with,” he said.
Toni plays the role of Ginny, an Architecture student who fell in love with Marco Villanueva (Piolo). In time, Marco also fell for Ginny and they began a one-of-a-kind love story.
Unfortunately, their relationship ended when she left for no apparent reason. When she returned, Ginny found herself wanting to get back with Marco. Can she bring back what was lost if he already has a girlfriend?
A story of endings and new beginnings; can they start over again?
Along with Piolo and Toni are Iza Calzado, Joross Gamboa, Bryan Santos, and many more.
Directed by the multi-awarded director Olive M. Lamasan and produced by Star Cinema, it will hit the cinemas on February 12 nationwide.
