Yumbassadors from UPLB sing teen version of Jollibee 35th anniversary jingle

Jollibee Yumbassadors and 2011 Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) finalist Kairos Band has been tapped to record the teen version of Jollibee’s 35th anniversary jingle titled “Buhay Kabataan”.  The jingle, now being played in the runs of Jollibee’s “Buhay Pamilya” traveling exhibit, is an edgier, more upbeat take on the fast-food chain’s 35th anniversary theme “Buhay Pamilya” which was interpreted beautifully by Jollibee endorser and Asia’s pop princess Sarah Geronimo.

Kairos band is composed of students and faculty members from the University of the Philippines Los Banos. As their advocacy, Kairos uses all the proceeds from the sales of their CDs to send under-privileged kids to school, impart values education, and develop their talents. The group just finished their third album “Pangarap” which is available for P200 at the Student Union Building, UPLB campus.

The group recently performed “Buhay Kabataan” live for the first time during the opening ceremony of Jollibee’s “Buhay Pamilya” exhibit in SM City Calamba. “It is indeed a great honor for us to be tapped by Jollibee to come up with our own rendition of the anniversary jingle,” shared vocalist Gebriel Remolacio.
Kairos’ version of Jollibee’s 35th anniversary jingle will be heard in all Jollibee stores nationwide beginning July.
