The Wong Chu King Foundation (WCKF) is helping in the repair of two churches in Cagayan and Cavite provinces, including one of the oldest in the country.
The Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish Church in Annafunan, Tuguegarao, Cagayan is getting a timely boost with fabrication and ceiling construction work through assistance extended by WCKF.
The foundation heeded the request of Rev. Fr. Fredel Agatep, parish priest, for assistance in refurbishing the dilapidated church, which is turning 100 this year.
Work on the Sta. Rosa de Lima Church started in Aug. 16 last year, and is expected to be completed and inaugurated on March 31 this year, on the 25th anniversary of WCKF.

The inauguration of the refurbished church will be highlighted by a mass to be presided by Archbishop Sergio Lasam Utleg D.D. and the clergy of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao.
WCKF is also helping in the refurbishing of the San Isidro Labrador Church in San Roque, Naic, Cavite.
Repair work and art painting of the church’s ceiling was started in early October last year and was completed on the first week of December 2014.
WCKF provided donations after San Isidro Labrador parish priest Rev. Fr. Orlando Jimenez sought the foundation’s help for repair and refurbishing work.
Construction of the San Isidro Labrador Church was started in 2006, and the church was completed in 2012 in time for the golden jubilee of the Diocese of Imus.
In that same year, the San Isidro Labrador Church was declared an independent parish.
