UNILAB BLOGGERS DAY: HUSAY AT MALASAKIT

One of the last events I attended this year was a bloggers lunch for Unilab, whose products,  I later realized filled up almost three-fourths of my medicine and stock cabinet– from Alaxan to Tuseran and from Enervon to Myra.

The event was held at Kabisera ni Dencios at Bonifacio Global City and was attended by a small group of select bloggers (mostly mommy bloggers).  But it turns out that even I was already benefiting from Unilab’s  Husay and Malasakit without even realizing it.

“Every step, marked by EXPERTISE. Every move, fueled by COMPASSION. This is how Unilab has built amazing journeys through the years.”

The gathering sought to further increase the awareness of the brand’s core values through five new videos that represented Husay and Malasakit through Innovation, Distribution, Product, Manufacturing and Active Health.

Each video was introduced by one a blogger/brand believer who likewise shared their touching stories of inspiration.

Husay at Malasakit: Innovation
The first video was introduced by mommy blogger Julie Custodio-Fuertes, whom i often see at events, I felt a bit guilty that it was her who even approached me to reintroduce herself (sorry mommy Julie, now I will never forget you) The first video showed how mothers are like superheroes who are always ready to rescue us in times of our need. She may also not be a doctor but just being beside her loving care is enough to make us feel well again. Just like Unilab who make sure that they have the right products that could relieve our discomfort and heal our illness.

Husay at Malasakit: Distribution of Unilab Products
Tetcha Figuerres of  www.pensivethoughts.com was the next one to introduce the video. She shared her story about needing a specific kind of medicine which was very effective but unfortunately was quite difficult to obtain. She stressed the importance of making life-saving drugs accessible to everyone.

“Drug manufacturers should not only produce drugs but should make them available to anyone, anywhere, just like what Unilab is doing. Unilab products are not only distributed in Metro Manila, but they are scattered all over the Philippines, from Luzon to Visayas and Mindanao. So even if you live in remote areas, you can rest assured that someone cares for your well-being because the medications that you need are just within reach,” she said in her post.

Husay at Malasakit: Products
It was a really nice to finally get to know one of the top bloggers in the country Ms. Teresa Gaudinez-Martinez who talked about the Products video.

She said her entire family has been loyal Unilab users because they are sure that all its healthcare products are made of quality ingredients. The woman behind teresay.com said Unilab products are also quite affordable, so you won’t really have to spend so much for the medications that you need.

Husay at Malasakit: Manufacturing Facilities
Stef de la Cruz told a humorous story about her getting sick numerous times which she attributed it to her having a lot of “manufacturing defects.”

The licensed nurse and doctor then presented the fourth video: Manufacturing highlighted how Unilab uses world-class manufacturing facilities and follows strict standards to ensure the quality, safety and efficiency of their products.

She also likened it to how bloggers should maintain quality in every post before publishing it to our readers.

Husay at Malasakit: Unilab Active Health
The last video made me feel a bit guilty as I have been covering and writing about Run United since it was first launched a few years ago, but I still have to participate in any of its run.   Franc Ramon, a Certified Public Accountant shared how Unilab Active Health (ULAH) changed his life and could help other Filipinos live healthier as it follows a year long calendar and holds separate runs for every skill level.

Hopefully,  I could finally join one of the runs this year. 😀

Di lang maraming nalalaman, maraming natutulungan
Magaling sa ginagawa, mapag-alaga sa kapwa

Makabago man ang proseso, hindi nawawala ang puso
Bawat hakbang may husay, bawat galaw may malasakit

Para lahat ay masaya, masigla, panatag
Ganyan kami nagsimula, ganyan kami magpapatuloy…
Husay at Malasakit, UNILAB ‘yan!
