HONOR’s newest foldable flagship has officially arrived in the Philippines. The HONOR Magic V6 is now available for pre-order at ₱119,999, with early buyers getting a FREE HONOR Pad X8b worth ₱12,999.
Pre-orders run from August 25 to September 4, 2026, with units and the free tablet available for claiming beginning September 5.
At nearly ₱120,000, the Magic V6 is firmly in premium flagship territory. HONOR’s pitch, however, is that buyers aren’t simply paying for a bigger folding screen. The company has packed its latest foldable with a 6,660mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, upgraded cameras and some serious durability credentials while keeping the phone surprisingly thin.
A foldable that doesn’t feel unnecessarily bulky
One of the first things you’ll notice about the Magic V6 is how thin it is. The White version measures just 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, while weighing around 219g.
Those numbers matter because bulk has always been one of the biggest compromises with book-style foldables. The Magic V6 comes remarkably close to the size and weight of a conventional flagship phone despite opening up into a much larger device.
HONOR also continues to put durability front and center. Its Super Steel Hinge is rated for a tensile strength of 2,800 MPa and works together with an AI-assisted bionic cushioning system designed to distribute impact during drops.
The inner display uses UTG flexible glass, while the outer screen gets HONOR’s Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield with a silicon nitride coating consisting of up to 5,600 layers.
Perhaps more impressive is the IP68 and IP69 rating, giving the Magic V6 protection against dust, water and high-pressure sprays—something you still don’t commonly see on foldable smartphones.
Two big, bright displays
On the outside is a 6.52-inch display, while unfolding the phone reveals a 7.95-inch inner screen.
Both support adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rates, with the outer display capable of reaching 6,000 nits peak brightness and the inner display reaching 5,000 nits. HONOR also includes 4320Hz PWM dimming and other eye-comfort features for those long reading, browsing and streaming sessions.
The biggest battery yet in a foldable
The headline specification might actually be hiding inside the phone.
HONOR managed to fit a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery into the Magic V6, which the company says is the largest battery ever fitted into a foldable smartphone.
That’s especially interesting considering how thin the phone is. The battery uses roughly 25 percent silicon content and has an energy density of 921Wh/L.
Charging shouldn’t take forever either. The Magic V6 supports 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless charging, as well as wireless reverse charging.
Performance comes courtesy of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage.
Three cameras instead of foldable compromises
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP main camera, 64MP periscope telephoto and 50MP ultrawide camera.
The telephoto uses a 1/2-inch sensor and features CIPA 6.5-stop stabilization, while HONOR’s AI Falcon Camera System handles much of the computational photography.
There are also AI-assisted creative features such as Magic Color 2.0, Magic Video Color and AI Image to Video 2.0.
Making better use of that inner screen
A large foldable display isn’t particularly useful if the software treats it like an oversized phone.
Running MagicOS 10, the Magic V6 introduces Fast Flex, which activates a dual split-screen interface through a folding motion. PC-level Multi-Flex can handle three apps simultaneously, giving users more room for multitasking, files and productivity.
HONOR is also making the phone less dependent on an all-HONOR ecosystem.
HONOR Share supports connectivity with devices including the iPhone and Mac, while Quick Share enables app-free file transfers between Android and compatible Apple devices.
Google Gemini is integrated as well, including Gemini Live interactions using the camera or screen. Magic V6 buyers also receive a three-month Google AI Pro trial, which includes expanded access to Gemini features, Veo 3.1, Nano Banana Pro, Flow and NotebookLM, together with 5TB of cloud storage during the trial.

The HONOR Magic V6 is priced at ₱119,999 and comes in Red, Gold and White.
Pre-orders are available from August 25 until September 4, 2026 through HONOR Experience Stores, participating partner stores and online channels.

₱119,999 isn’t impulse-buy territory, even with a free tablet thrown in. But if you’ve already decided your next flagship is going to be a foldable, the Magic V6 makes an interesting argument: instead of asking buyers to tolerate the usual compromises of a foldable, HONOR is trying to eliminate as many of them as possible.
