10.21.2011–Is it the end of OUR world or HIS? |
The name might not immediately ring a bell, but his prediction sure did generate a lot of buzz.
On October 21, 2011, disasters, death and destruction will begin their reign of terror around the world, plunging humanity into fear and mourning as the last day of the biblical Feast of Tabernacles is held simultaneously with the Feast of Ingathering.
Quoting the Bible passage of 2 Peter 3:10, Harold Camping warns that “the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
Along with the whole planet, all those who have sinned against God and are not raptured will be consumed by fire and be eternally destroyed, according to Harold Camping’s October 21 doomsday prediction.
On October 21st, 2011, God will completely destroy this creation and all of the people who never experienced the salvation of Jesus Christ along with it. The doomsday prediction warns that the horrible payment for sinful rebellion against God will be paid by the loss of everlasting life.
Harold Camping warns that the time for salvation is drawing to a rapid close. He says that God has given the world 7,000 years from The Great Flood and only weeks remain until we reach October 21st, 2011. The few grains of sand remaining in the global hourglass will have elapsed and be gone forever.
Although little time remains until Judgment Day, there is still hope for anyone as it takes God only a second to save someone, Camping reminds the world.
“In the last hours of a terribly sinful life, any person can be saved by the Lord. The thief on the cross at Calvary was saved by Christ in such a manner,” says Harold Camping, known as the “Doomsday Preacher”.
