Kimmy Dora fans have another Eugene Domingo project to savor. The beloved comedienne continues to grow in her genre, playing another laughter-inducing dual role in the latest commercial for Payless Instant Mami from Universal Robina Corporation (URC). Eugene portrays both a mother and an aunt who is left to take care of her rowdy pamangkins in the TV commercial. “Gustung-gusto ko talaga yung mga roles na ganito. Yung nagcha-change ng itsura,” she shares. It was a fun-filled shoot with Eugene and the kids as their humor and liveliness brought the cool jungle set to life. In their cute and colorful animal costumes, the kids were bursting with energy as they shot scene after scene with the popular star. “Natuwa ako na yung theme ng commercial ay jungle. Pati yung mga batang kasama ko may role-playing. Naka-costume talaga sila ng mga animals. And grabe, ang taas nung energy nila mag-play as animals. Nakakatuwa sila,” shares Eugene.
The commercial features Eugene who, as the aunt, is left with her pamangkins. The house suddenly turns into a jungle and the kids transform into animals causing chaos in the household. Wise aunt Eugene then prepares Payless Instant Mami—now with firmer noodles, 11 vitamins, improved Chicken Espesyal flavor and in a bigger 55g pack—which changes them back into cute adorable kids. The mom, also played by Eugene, comes home to find all of her kids well-behaved and well-fed. A self-confessed lover of noodles, Eugene plays her roles perfectly along with the kids in the funny new commercial.
