But the most electrifying moment of the year? The much-anticipated return of Red Ollero to the squared circle!
As announced at the previous FPW Astig taping, the first homegrown Netflix-featured comedian is lacing up his wrestling boots once again at the aptly-titled FPWUnfinished Business on September 15, 2024 at Baked Studios in Makati City.
“This has been a year that Filipino Pro Wrestling has built momentum and I want to ensure that the ball keeps on rolling and FPW gets the proper exposure it gets–even if I have to do it with my bare hands!” shared the FPW President.
Power vs defiance Red’s stance alludes to his quarrel with the current FPW champion, Mike Madrigal–a man he doesn’t completely envision as the face of FPW. Despite various attempts to be dethroned, Mike’s never-say-die attitude and exceptional in-ring ability has kept him standing victorious and defiant against a tyrannical boss who is out to get him.
But in an ultimate move, Red Ollero pulls out his last card–classic 5 on 5 elimination match between his own hand-picked army against Mike Madrigal’s chosen allies. ● Team Red: Red Ollero.
