SINGAPORE, March 27, 2025 — POCO has officially launched its most powerful smartphone to date, the POCO F7 Ultra, during a global launch event held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
This marks POCO’s official entry into true flagship territory, with the F7 Ultra leading the new F7 Series by bringing formerly premium-only features to a wider audience — pushing boundaries in performance, display technology, and, for the first time, imaging.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform, the POCO F7 Ultra is built on a 3nm process and delivers up to 45% faster CPU performance and 44% GPU gains, while reducing power consumption by more than 50%.
Ultra Performance
Living up to its “Ultra” moniker, the device scored an impression AnTuTu benchmark of 2,843,461, making it one of the fastest Android smartphones.
Complementing the main processor is POCO’s first dedicated graphics chip, the VisionBoost D7 chipset, which enhances gameplay and video rendering with Smart Frame Rate (up to 120FPS), 2K Super Resolution, and Game HDR.
The Dual-core Visuals feature further optimizes streaming quality across YouTube and Netflix.
The F7 Ultra is also the first POCO device to ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 2, introducing system-level improvements via HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI. The OS offers Google Gemini integration for smarter task management and cross-platform connectivity.
To maintain peak performance during heavy usage, the device integrates WildBoost Optimization 4.0 and LiquidCool Technology 4.0, featuring a 5400mm² dual-channel IceLoop cooling system. This allows the F7 Ultra to sustain 2K gaming at 120FPS for extended sessions without significant heat buildup or frame drops.
Flagship Camera System
Perhaps the biggest improvement lies in its cameras.
The POCO F7 Ultra features a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor with Light Fusion 800, a 50MP floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 32MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view. The camera system supports 8 classic focal lengths, including 10cm macro and 120mm telephoto.
Imaging is powered by POCO AISP, the brand’s new AI LM computational photography platform, which integrates the phone’s CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP for enhanced image clarity and processing speed. Features include 20X UltraZoom Beta, UltraSnap burst mode (up to 150 frames), and Dynamic Shots for motion photography.

The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch 2K Flow AMOLED display, offering a 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3200 nits peak brightness. TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly standards ensure extended eye comfort.

The POCO F7 Ultra houses a 5300mAh battery, paired with 120W wired HyperCharge, which delivers a full charge in just 34 minutes, and 50W wireless charging. The device includes POCO’s Surge P3 and G1 chipsets for efficient battery management and longevity, retaining over 80% capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.
Connectivity and Audio
Connectivity is enhanced via the Surge T1S signal enhancement chipset, improving cellular performance by up to 37% and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth stability by 16%. An AI-powered antenna switching system optimizes signal strength dynamically.
