“It’s not the brand. It’s the consumer,” reads the tagline of NoBrand, a popular Korean store that just opened its very first PH store at the Robinsons Galleria.

If you’ve ever been to Korea, you probably came across one of their 258 locations to try discover and discover why its become one of the Korean’s favorite stores for just about everything–from food items, drinks, toiletries, laundry and even school supplies!
Launched in 2015 by Korea’s leading retailer, E-mart, this value-driven store features private label products that do away with marketing frills and fancy packaging, yet deliver the same quality that are at par with respected and much patronized brands in the market.
Two leaders in the retail industry in their respective countries, E-mart and Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RHHI) forged a deal late last year to bring the No Brand to the Philippines. ”We are confident that, together, we will be able to widen the presence of No Brand in the Philippines by opening more branches,” says Manjoon, SONG, Senior Vice-President of No Brand Division, E-Mart.
And though all their items are “NoBrand,” its very hard to ignore its eye-catching signature yellow packaging and the little smiley face next to the words “No Brand” Still its the smart consumer that takes centerstage at No Brand store as it highlights utility over vanity, value over appearances.
By adopting a simple approach to merchandising and eliminating costs of fancy branding, customers can expect to get exactly what they need or more.

”No Brand’s philosophy of advocating smart shopping is aligned with Robinsons Retail’s mission of providing top quality products at prices customers can well afford. We are excited and proud to partner with them,” says Jody Gadia, Managing Director, RRHI supermarket segment.
