Regardless of all the bashing and criticism she’s been receiving, for bagging perhaps the most coveted role of Darna, few will argue that Liza Soberano is one if not the hottest female celebrity of her generation. With a face that could sell almost any magazine cover, and a disarming smile that could easily charm anyone its no surprise that Liza has been getting endorsements left and right. Last year, Liza’s manager Ogie Diaz posted a photo of them visiting the Star Records office confirming that there are actually plans for Liza to record her own album. “Yes, it was said before that I was going to but because I became busy with Dolce Amore and with My Ex and Whys, we weren’t able to push through with it because if ever I were to release an album, I would like to be very hands-on with it. So I’m just waiting for the right time,” Liza told reporters at the MegaPro Plus Megasound trade launch held at the Luxent Hotel in QC.
If and when her album pushes through, Liza says she wants to be hands in all aspects of creating her album. “Kasi it will unleash the other side of me po so I really want it to be special. Hopefully soon, matuloy na po (’yung album),” she said.
