LBC, the largest express courier, cargo, and money remittance service company in the Philippines, recently appointed Mike Camahort as the new LBC president, confident in his ability to drive the company towards its vision to become an internationally renowned end-to-end logistics and supply chain service provider for consumers and businesses.
LBC Chief Strategy Officer Fernando G. Araneta believes that Camahort is the perfect successor for the presidency.
“Mike Camahort exemplifies the technical abilities, leadership skills, and management expertise that LBC is renowned for. His remarkable track record has made him a leading authority in the logistics industry, and we are certain that he will enhance LBC’s culture of innovation and drive the brand’s growth,” Araneta said.
For the past five years, Camahort served as the company’s Chief Operations Officer (COO). Utilizing insights and skills gained from working in the logistics field for the past ten years, he has revolutionized LBC’s cargo processing.
Before his stint in LBC, he was Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for the Aboitiz Transport System Corporation, and the Senior Vice-President for Operations for Aboitiz One, Inc.
“This is the start of an exciting time for me, and I am eager to build on our momentum,” Camahort noted. “Thoughout six decades, it is clear that leadership has been the hallmark in each chapter of the LBC story, and we are enhancing this legacy by providing customized solutions that are able to meet the most challenging demands,” he further emphasized.
Camahort still retains his position as COO, along with the company presidency.
