Idol goes to Vegas

Elaborate sets, a smoke-filled stage, and some of the hottest new talents on AMERICAN IDOL – it’s “Vegas Week” on the biggest talent show in the world!
For the first time in the history of AMERICAN IDOL, the hopefuls who survived Hollywood week brave Sin City to face more challenges. They get to perform on the set of Cirque du Soleil’s “The Beatles LOVE” and also sing in duets and trios.
Among those strutting their stuff on “Vegas Week” are Fil-Ams Thia Megia, who last week wowed everyone with her version of “What A Wonderful World”; and and Clint Jun Gamboa, who sang “Georgia on My Mind”; Casey Abrams, who crooned while playing the stand-up bass; Carson Higgins, who sang ‘My Prerogative”; Lauren Alaina, who sang “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing”; and Scotty McCreery, who sang “I Hope You Dance.”
Who will shine in Sin City? More dynamite performances as the AMERICAN IDOL hopefuls soar to greater heights.
The best is yet to come. AMERICAN IDOL airs Thursdays and Fridays, 6 pm (with same day replays at 9pm) only on Q Channel 11.
