GrabTaxi gives huge booking fee discounts

There are two things that can ruin even the most festive of Christmas Spirit–a bonus that seemed to be computed by Mr. Scrooge, and finding a decent taxi that wouldn’t charge you half of that measly Christmas pay.

Taxi booking mobile app GrabTaxi is giving commuters more reason to smile as it announces its booking rates promo through its GRABeng Christmas campaign, which runs from December 1 to 15, 2013.

Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers can book free, while customers of other networks such as Smart, Talk ‘N Text, and Sun will only need to pay Php 30.

The application’s regular booking fee is Php 70 and is paid on top of the passenger’s metered fare.
GrabTaxi is the Philippines’ first and largest “e-hailing”mobile application available on Andoid, Windows, and IOS operating systems. It works by matching the user to an available taxi near his location.

Apart from an estimated fare, users can also receive the taxi driver’s name, plate number, and phone number,track him on the application’s map, and rate his service.

GrabTaxi is also available in Malaysia, Bangkok, and Singapore.
