G-Force Project 2014 adds sexy dance classes #WhiteShirtLove

TEACHER GEORCELLE (1)They are probably the busiest and most visible dance group in the country.

You’ve seen them on almost every variety/talent show on TV, got to know more about them with their TV guestings and got mesmerized as they performed live at the concerts of your favorite singers.

They are the G-Force, and led by their artistic director Georcelle Dapat-Sy, they continue to prove that dancing isn’t just a talent, it is a passion and career path worth pursuing.

Having graced ABS-CBN’s longest noontime variety show ASAP and made other groundbreaking multi-platform appearances, G-Force has successfully aligned itself with the biggest names in the industry, and reaching out to diverse audiences.

These dance workshops called the G-Force Project began in 2008. The group’s brainchild offers dance classes of different genres, spearheaded by homegrown choreographers. The dance workshop accommodates students ages three and up.

“I would always go back to the group’s core, on why we are doing the G-Force Project. Our students look up to us. They don’t only want to become G-Force but also want to build individualities as aspiring dancers and choreographers as well. We want the G-Force in-house teachers to personally guide them, we want to share the gift of dance,” said Teacher Georcelle.

Tagged as the biggest dance workshop, G-Force Project also boasts of the biggest recitals which are intermittently staged at grand venues such as the Araneta Coliseum.

This year’s G-Force Project is made even special because for the first time, one of the classes will be handled by Teacher Georcelle herself. In the past, Teacher Georcelle had always entrusted the supervision of the workshop classes to her choreographers.

The fitness-designed sexy dance class #WhiteShirtLove will be open to girls and girls at heart. “Originally, the title of the class was Foxy Moms. But it’s no longer just for moms. I want women and everyone in the class to feel comfortable with themselves — with their bodies regardless of their shapes and sizes. I want to introduce this class here as a fitness program that would make them feel empowered. #WhiteShirtLove is actually a good workout program to help enhance one’s body sculpture. This class would help my students achieved trimmed bellies, toned legs, arms, buttocks and other areas that they want to improve on,” she added.

Me and My Little Force meanwhile is a special class for three- to five-year-old kids as well as their parents, guardians, older relatives or even their baby-sitters.

Other all-time favorite G-Force classes like K-Pop, Burlesque, Hip-Hop, Smooth Hip-Hop, 2-Werk, Jazz Funk, Zumba, Lyrical Hip-Hop and Kid’s Class are still offered from May 10 to 29 (Batch 2). Recital is on May 29 at the Big Dome.

So whether you want to learn to dance, improve your skills or become a serious dancer you might want to check out their upcoming classes for summer.
