Autocar, the Original Car Magazine, launched their local franchise last Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Grand ballroom of the Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque.
The magazine, a weekly issue in the United Kingdom and has seen continuous print since 1895, claims to be the first car magazine created “in the interest of the automated road carriage.”
Autocar Philippines is headed by Ira Panganiban as Editor in Chief and Managing Director and supported after market specialist Dino Directo, veteran race drivers George Apacible andEggay Quesada, young turks Miguel Alegre, Nana Nadal, Paula Feliciano and Riva Galvez-Tan and opinion maker and car restorer Cito Beltran.
Autocar will be seen on the magazine stands in January of 2014 for its maiden issue. On the cover is the new Roll Royce Ghost. Inside will be another global brand, Stuff Magazine, a gadget magazine that will see its own cut in the future.
