Sharp’s New Classic Speakers Blend Vintage Style with Karaoke-Ready Entertainment

There’s something nostalgic about the look of old-school speakers. Long before wireless audio and streaming playlists, speakers were often part of the home’s furniture—designed to be seen as much as they were meant to be heard. Sharp Philippines is tapping into that nostalgia with the launch of its new Classic Speaker Series, combining retro-inspired styling with the features people expect from a modern Bluetooth speaker.

Available in four models—60W, 80W, 120W, and 160W RMS—the new lineup is built for different listening needs, whether it’s casual music sessions at home, family karaoke nights, or larger celebrations.

The first thing you’ll notice is the design. Wrapped in a leather-inspired finish with brushed gold accents, the speakers have a timeless look that stands apart from the black plastic boxes that dominate today’s market. A built-in carrying handle also makes them easy to move from the living room to the patio or wherever the next gathering happens.

But the Classic Speaker Series isn’t just about appearances.

The CS-0610P-BR (60W RMS) and CS-0810P-BR (80W RMS) use a 2-way speaker system designed for balanced everyday listening, making them suitable for smaller spaces and intimate get-togethers. Those looking for more powerful sound can step up to the CS-1210P-BR (120W RMS) or CS-1610P-BR (160W RMS), both equipped with a 3-way speaker system that delivers fuller vocals, stronger bass, and room-filling audio.

Sharp also designed the lineup with karaoke in mind. Every model includes two rechargeable wireless microphones, dual microphone inputs, adjustable microphone volume, echo and reverb controls, plus Voice Cancellation to help bring vocals to the forefront. Whether it’s a family reunion or an impromptu weekend sing-along, everything needed is already in the box.

Musicians can also plug in an acoustic or electric guitar using the built-in guitar input, turning the speaker into a simple practice or performance setup.

Connectivity is equally flexible. Aside from Bluetooth streaming, users can connect compatible speakers through True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for a wider stereo experience. Other playback options include USB, AUX, RCA Line-In, and FM Radio, giving users multiple ways to enjoy their favorite music.

Portability depends on the model. The 60W and 80W versions feature built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, allowing them to be used even when there’s no nearby power outlet. The larger 120W and 160W models are AC-powered, making them better suited for extended use and bigger venues where maximum output is the priority.

Rather than chasing flashy designs or oversized lighting effects, Sharp’s Classic Speaker Series leans into a cleaner, more timeless aesthetic while offering the entertainment features many Filipino households enjoy, especially karaoke.
