During the first few weeks of the ECQ, one of the more controversial and divisive tweets I’ve read was this one from Jeremy Haynes who posted.:
If you don’t come out of this quarantine with either
- a new skill
- starting what you’ve been putting off like a new business
- more knowledge
You didn’t ever lack the time, you lacked the discipline.
There were those who quickly took offense saying it was very insensitive to those people who were just trying to survive this pandemic. But there were also those who viewed it as a wakeup call and a challenge to stop procastinating.
I do think this is the perfect quote for people who kept posting that they were bored and had nothing else to do but watch Netflix.
If there’s one good thing from being stuck at home during these times, its having enough time to think about your goals, try new things, explore new interests and just let those creative juices flow.

And if you feel uninspired lacking motivation, or perhaps having difficulty because your work from home gear is outdated, now may be the best time to upgrade your phone or get a tablet to give you that push and make those creative visions a reality.
