A seven-seater for families who want more room, an electric SUV coupé for everyday driving, and a range-extended option for those planning longer trips. XPENG is giving Filipino car buyers several ways into its lineup, with six variants priced from ₱1,548,000 to ₱4,058,000.
The brand formally launched in the Philippines on September 25 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, revealing the full local lineup of its X9 MPV and L03 SUV coupé. It also introduced Anne Curtis as its official Philippine brand ambassador in front of 3,000 guests, including media, content creators, dealer and banking partners, automotive executives, and members of the public.
Joining the vehicle debuts were displays of the X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot, offering a look at XPENG’s work beyond cars. Singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, P-pop group GAT, and social media personality Criselda Alvarez rounded out the evening’s entertainment.
For prospective owners, the announcements covered the practical questions, too: how much each variant costs, what comes with the purchase, where to reserve, and when deliveries are expected.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03,” said Katoon Su, Country Director of XPENG Philippines. “We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage.”
XPENG X9: More room, with two seating configurations
The XPENG X9 is the brand’s flagship seven-seater MPV, available in two Long Range variants. The X9 Long Range costs ₱3,858,000, while the X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package is priced at ₱4,058,000.
The choice largely comes down to how passengers will use the second row. The X9 Long Range has Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, making it easier to move between the second and third rows. The Premium Seat Package adds four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage for a more personalized seating setup.
Both versions get active rear-wheel steering, which gives the large MPV a turning radius of 5.4 meters—a useful feature when navigating tight turns, narrow streets, and parking areas. Intelligent dual-chamber air suspension is designed to improve ride comfort, while the powered third row folds beneath the floor at the touch of a button when more cargo space is needed.
The two variants share a front-wheel-drive electric powertrain producing 235 kW and 450 Nm, paired with a 110 kWh battery. XPENG quotes a driving range of up to 615 km and a 10-to-80-percent charging time of approximately 12 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.
Exterior choices are Midnight Black, Arctic White, and Matte Gray, with Silver Frost available by special order. Meteorite Black is the standard interior color, while Coffee can also be specially ordered.
XPENG L03: Four variants, including a range extender
The five-seat XPENG L03 SUV coupé offers a lower starting price and a choice between three battery-electric variants and one range-extended electric vehicle, or REEV.
The lineup starts with the L03 EV Standard Range at ₱1,548,000, followed by the L03 REEV at ₱1,598,000 and the L03 EV Long Range at ₱1,698,000. The range-topping L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra costs ₱2,058,000.
For buyers comparing battery capacity and quoted driving range, the EV Standard Range has a 58.3 kWh battery and offers up to 445 km. The EV Long Range uses a larger 71.1 kWh battery for up to 520 km.
The Long Range Ultra has the same 71.1 kWh battery, with a quoted range of up to 480 km. Its additional equipment includes front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and additional intelligent driving hardware.
The REEV takes a different approach. Its 37.2 kWh battery provides a claimed pure-electric range of up to 215 km, allowing daily trips to run on battery power when sufficiently charged. For longer journeys, an onboard engine generates electricity rather than driving the wheels directly. XPENG quotes a combined WLTP range of up to 1,017 km.
That gives buyers an option worth considering if they want electric driving for their usual commute but also expect to take trips where charging stops may be harder to plan.
All four L03 variants use an electric motor to drive the rear wheels. According to XPENG, each can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes with a compatible DC fast charger under optimal conditions.
Across the lineup, the L03 has a 539-liter rear luggage area, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and XPENG’s driver assistance and safety technologies. Buyers can choose from Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple, all paired with a Dark Gray interior.
What comes with ownership
XPENG’s Philippine launch packages include preventive maintenance, roadside assistance, warranties, and charging equipment, with some differences between models.
X9 buyers receive five years of free preventive maintenance services, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor. A 7 kW wall charger is also included.
L03 buyers receive two years of free preventive maintenance services, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor.
The three fully electric L03 variants come with a 7 kW wall charger, while the L03 REEV includes a 3.5 kW portable charger.
Reservations and expected deliveries
