Has the network wars reached a totally different level?
After comedian Vice Ganda made fun of GMA 7 vice president for news programs and news anchor Jessica Soho, netizens have again trooped to various social networking sites to air their opinions about the comedian’s tasteless kind of comedy.
On May 17, during his concert titled “I Vice Ganda Mo Ako sa Araneta” at the Big Dome, the comedian staged a whole segment about unlikely celebrities becoming bold stars.
The segment, uploaded on YouTube in its entirety, included jokes about Soho, the only GMA 7 personality among ABS-CBN stars (Boy Abunda, Kris Aquino, Gus Abelgas and Kim Atienza)

Jessica Soho in a news interview said “I could let the fat jokes go, but he had to go so far.”
The uproar began Tuesday when broadcaster Arnold Clavio on his dzBB radio show, “One on One with Igan,” said “Why victimize serious people who have serious jobs You shouldn’t be using them just to make others laugh. Why don’t you just do that to your colleagues over at ABS-CBN?”
Several other GMA reporters then expressed their own opinions snowballing a very colorful discussion on Twitter.
A top-ranking ABS-CBN executive meanwhile, question the timing of the controversy as it had already been 11 days since the concert.
Vice has since issued a public apology during Showtime, and said he already called Soho, but the broadcaster declined saying she wasnt feeling well at that time.
