Veloci: Time pieces at the Speed of Style

For the past decade, LTimeStudio has been introducing some of the most renowned watch brands such as Armani Exchange, Nine West, Puma and Diesel, Fossil, Skagen, Lacoste, Victorinox, Nike, and many others to the Philippines.

This year, the company finally ventures on a bigger challenge as it finally unveiled Veloci, its first in-house brand, that brings European style, Swiss craftmanship and a color palette that could satisfy even the most moody and fickle-minded fashionista.

The new brand was introduced to media last August 28 at the Aracama Restaurant followed by a lavish fashion show in the evening at the Imperial Bar at Bonifacio Global City.

According to Marnie Chua, managing director of Veloci and brand manager of Lucerne Group, which owns LTimeStudio, developing the new brand took a few years.

Chua said LTime-Studio finally decided to create its own brand after 10 years of carrying international names except for its sole local brand, Bench Time.

“Veloci has been a project that has been in the pipeline for the past several years—from the conceptualization of the designs to the choosing of the straps—and we were just waiting for the right time to finally launch it.”

“Our objective in coming up with Veloci is to bring European watch trends to more Filipinos with its affordable pricing,” he shared.

Besides its eye-catching colors and design each Veloci watch comes with three different straps that you can easily switch depending on your mood or outfit.

It also presents a very competitive pricing strategy, “For foreign brands, the cheapest price of a chronograph watch is about P8,000 while Veloci’s is just around P5,000, and that is already the most expensive.”

“Veloci” comes from the Italian word that means “speed” which also mirrors the brand’s fashion philosophy.

“We take inspiration from Italian watches. And as you know, Italy is one of the countries at the forefront of watch-making.” “Our watch is the perfect complement for those people who live active lifestyles. It can be worn as a trendy fashion accessory, or as a travel companion,” Chua stated.

Veloci is the first local brand to use military tough NATO nylon straps, making it the perfect watch to bring on any adventure.

The new watch brand currently has three collections; The sea-inspired Cruise and Voyager collections and the sky-inspired Aeronaute collection.The Cruise collection comes in a palette of colors from cool pastel pink to lemon yellow and subdued hues of gray and classic white to the more adventurous bright red, purple, and blue.

The more masculine Voyager collection  is driven by outdoor trends and active lifestyle, the collection comes in a variety of watch dial colors: orange for the more adventurous individuals, blue, silver and black for those who prefer classic hues. The watch features a rotating bezel and comes a regular 40mm and the bigger size, a more modern 44mm.

Veloci’s premium chronograph collection the Aeronaute was created by aviation enthusiasts and watch manufacturers, and resonates Italian design throughout its various pieces in subtle dark colors.
