MLQU REWARDS TOP 8 CIVIL ENGINEER BOARD PASSER ENGR ARCHIMEDES MARTINEZ WITH 1 MILLION

Its not everyday that you hear a story about a student who almost threw away his education because of a nasty vice and get rewarded, but that is exactly how Archimedes Martinez is starting his engineering career–with a P1 Million prize for being in the top 10 list of passers at this years professional licensing exam given for Civil Engineers.

MLQU alumnus Mr. Archimedes Martinez ranked Top 8 in the recent nationwide professional licensing exam given for Civil Engineers with a rating of 92.65 percent based on results posted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last May 11, 2017.

As a reward, MLQU gave one (1) million cash reward to Martinez as a token of recognition and appreciation during the Success the MLQU Way event held at the Victoria Sports Tower Station 2, last June 6, 2017.

Engr. Martinez, a BS Civil Engineer graduate is the only graduate from MLQU to make it to the top 10. Out of 6,998 examinees, only 2,514 passed the exam conducted simultaneously in 12 cities in the country.

With this achievement Martinez has brought honor and pride to his alma mater. And in return, MLQU celebrates this victory through Success the MLQU Way event by rewarding him with the cash prize reward and a job offer from New San Jose Builders, Inc. (NSJBI).

The said event is a celebration of the success and achievements of MLQU graduates who have exhibited exemplary performance during the recent Board and Bar Examinations. Together with Mr. Martinez, Mr. Raphael Pedroso was also awarded fifty thousand pesos for having a total average score of 93.25% in the recent nationwide professional licensing exam for Civil Engineers.

This is MLQU’s way to motivate its aspiring students to be committed and to continue to strive for excellence.

MLQU has made a name for itself as one of the top law schools in the country with notable alumni in government service that includes: Alberto Romulo (Foreign Affairs Secretary), Blas F. Ople (Former Labor Secretary and Senate President), Voltaire Gazmin (Defense Secretary), Lilia de Lima (PEZA Director General) Rosalinda Baldoz (Department of Labor and Employment Secretary ), Jose V. Yap (former Tarlac governor), Magtanggol Gunigundo (former PCGG chairman), Obet Pagdanganan (former Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary), Sedfrey A. Ordohez (former Justice Secretary), and Wigberto Tanada (former senator).

In 2014, the New San Jose Builders Inc. acquired MLQU which ignited a vision of getting back on track and building the culture of excellence and legacy of becoming an outstanding academic institution. Since then MLQU, under the new management, has been very committed in regaining its glory.

MLQU will continue to hone individuals who are capable of producing exemplary and notable works.
