Well, social media has been a-buzz for the last few months, ever since those billboards appeared along Edsa-Guadalupe, C5, Slex, Pioneer, Ortigas, and several other places. Everyone had their own guesses, some thought it was political ad, or another one of those “viral” marriage proposals, while some assumed it was a new lifestyle brand based on its well-curated Instagram account.
Well, now we know who was behind the ads as Smart officially announced their revamped postpaid offers with our very own Miss Universe Catriona Gray as the face of the new campaign.
The mobile services arm of PLDT ushers in a “reimagined” postpaid experience that promises to put customers first with their new Smart Signature Plans (www.smart.com.ph/signature). Now you can slay your goals like Gray as Smart Signature shatters the limitations of the traditional plans to deliver a prioritized, worry-free and in-control mobile experience. Compared to the old plans, Smart Signature adds more GB of data as well as more call minutes for calling other networks.
Smart Signature gives priority to its subscribers on the Smart LTE network, touted as the country’s undisputed fastest mobile network as awarded by world-renowned network analysts including Ookla, OpenSignal, Tutela and P3. This prioritized network experience makes sure that subscribers enjoy consistent data to connect to their favorite apps, send messages in real time, and make uninterrupted calls—even during peak hours.
As far as the choice of packages, Smart Signature has simplified the options. I must admit, even as a longtime Smart Postpaid subscriber, their plans were a bit confusing and I sometimes get surprised that I’ve incurred extra charges for phone calls and exceeding my text allocations.
Smart Signature comes in four sizes— PLAN S, PLAN M, PLAN L and PLAN XL—with generous open access data allocation for data-savvy customers, worry-free unlimited calls to Smart, Sun and TNT; worry-free AnyNet call minutes to PLDT landline and other networks; and unlimited texts to all networks—so you never have to worry about switching phones to call or text your family or friends on a different network.
For its SIM-Only Plans, Smart Signature starts with Size S at P999 per month, with 10GB data; Size M is at P1,499 per month, with 20GB data; Size L at P1,999 per month, with 30GB data; and Size XL at P2,999 per month with 60GB data. All plans come with unlimited calls to Smart, Sun and TNT; 100 to 600 free minutes of calls to other networks; and unlimited texts to any network.
What’s even better is that Smart Signature now features Data Rollover so if you have any unused data for the month you get to use it the next month.
Smart Signature also offers Device Plans, which offers the latest flagship handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S10 Series and Huawei Mate P30 Series, bundled with big-sized allocation for data, calls and texts.
To give customers full control of their plan, Smart Signature comes with the handy myPLDT Smart App, which lets users monitor and manage their usage and monthly bill in real time, and avail of Data or Call Boosters as needed. The app is also set to roll out more advanced features to give greater convenience to subscribers.
Smart Signature also features real-time billing and usage alerts, and notifies users when they are close to reaching their monthly data and call limit. Once their data and call allocation for the month have been fully consumed, they can top up by availing of Data or Call Boosters.
