SINGAPORE AIRLINES CELEBRATES 60 YEARS IN THE PHILIPPINES

Singapore Airlines (SIA) recently celebrated its 60th anniversary in the Philippines, marking six decades of connecting Filipino travelers to the world. To thank customers for their continued support, the airline organized surprise anniversary celebrations at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Manila and Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

The milestone was commemorated with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by SIA representatives and key partners, including officials from NNIC and NAIA Terminal 3. The gathering highlighted the strong partnerships that have supported SIA’s growth in the country and reaffirmed a shared commitment to enhancing air travel, connectivity, and passenger experiences for travelers flying to and from the Philippines.

SIA customers departing from Manila were welcomed with anniversary-themed installations and commemorative postcards at check-in counters. At the SilverKris Lounge, guests savored specially prepared treats featuring local flavors, while customers at the gate hold room enjoyed interactive games, photo opportunities, complimentary refreshments, and anniversary giveaways. Customers also received commemorative batik-designed cookies before boarding, with refreshments and similar treats distributed to travelers departing Cebu.
