The most awaited Chinese New Year’s Eve get-together is just a couple of weeks away (JANUARY 27, 2017) and the New World Makati and ODV Creatives has prepared a special event dubbed as YIN & YANG SHOP OF HARMONY “2017 ENCHANTING THE FIRE ROOSTER.” Yin & Yang Shop of Harmony’s resident Feng Shui Expert, Princess Lim Fernandez, will lead the festivities which are designed to magnify one’s luck in the year of the Fire Rooster.
Last week, I had the chance to chat with Ms. Princess Fernandez over lunch as she shared some of the things to expect this year of the Fire Rooster and even gave us personal readings based on our year, day and time of birth.
I learned that I was born in the year of the Fire Dragon (1976), Month of Water Snake (May); Day of the Fire Rabbit (15); and time of the Water Rabbit(6 am)
She says its going to be a pretty good year for those born under the Horse and Dragon years and that this year may be a very very busy year for me. She cautioned me though not to push myself too much and spend time to rejuvenate and regroup and lastly be wise in my investments and cautious about my spendings even though it will be a great year for me as my money luck comes from METAL as the coming year has this element. 
I then asked her about the chances of our bet Maxine Medina in the upcoming Ms. Universe as its all everyone can talk about this year. She says Maxine has a pretty good chance based on her chart, but she really couldn’t tell as there may be other candidates with better fortunes than her. Princess also said that while Chinese New Year is on January 27, the official beginning of the year of the Fire Rooster, will be on February 3, 2017. So babies born after 23:36H on this day will already belong to the Fire Rooster Zodiac Sign. Those born BEFORE 23:36H today still belong to the Fire Monkey Zodiac sign.
February 3, 2017 is Everybody’s Birthday and will be a day of celebration and gatherings. Celebrate with noodles for longevity and good health!
Another important date is the Tai Suey Blessing happening on February 19, 2017 The Tai Suey Blessing is a special ceremony where prayers and offerings are made to the Grand Deity “Tai Suey”, the yearly guardian in charge for the year of the Fire Rooster to ask for protection & safety throughout the year. Most especially recommended for those born in the year/day of the Rabbit, Rooster, Rat, Dog, Fire Horse & Water Horse. Also people whose name & surname starts with “G”, “J”, “M”, “S” and “T” .
