Robinsons Malls, one of the largest and most successful chains of malls and retail operators in the country, responds to the ever- changing needs of Filipinos as it continues to create sustainable environments conducive for working, living, playing and shopping not only here in Luzon but all over the country.
Robinsons Place Isabela is set to open this October and by November, Robinsons Malls will make its presence felt even more in the Visayas with the opening of Robinsons Place Roxas, which is expected not only to help boost the local and regional economy but also provide residents with a different kind of shopping experience. Two new malls are also set to open this December in Butuan and Malolos, Bulacan.
Planned, designed, built and managed to ensure economic vibrancy and provide spaces for healthful human interactions, these new malls will definitely change and enhance the way the locals live, shop and do their business.
ISABELA TEASES THE SENSES
Santiago City is considered the center of commerce and trade in Isabela. It is home to thousands of business enterprises, banks, schools and manufacturing companies. Add to that bustling and vibrant landscape is the soon-to-open Robinsons Place Santiago.
With accessibility as a primary consideration, the new mall is situated near the junction of three major highways – the Santiago-Tuguegarao Hghway, the City Road which leads to downtown Santiago, and the Maharlika Highway going towards Manila.
Robinsons Place Santiago will be the first in the province to offer all the trappings of modern-day malling – from first-rate shops, to numerous dining options, all-digital cinemas and an international style architecture. People from Isabela as well as the neighboring provinces of Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya and Eastern Ifugao will certainly be thrilled to know that all the Robinsons’ anchor stores will be present in the new mall.
“Santiago is without doubt one of the key cities in the north. Robinsons couldn’t pass up the chance to build in this fast-growing city which attracts not only people from the province of Isabela but also the neighboring provinces,” shares Magtibay.
THE CITY COMES ALIVE IN ROXAS CITY
A bustling structure that boasts magnificent architecture that allows space for community interaction, savoring nature and for bonding with family and the barkada is what Robinsons Place Roxas is all about.
Situated at the northern portion of Pueblo de Panay, a 300-hectare masterplanned township development along the Lawaan Highway in Roxas City, Robinsons Place Roxas consists of a two-level commercial structure that will house Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Movieworld, Handyman. Robinsons Appliance Center, Saizen, an amusement center and a bingo activity center.
The spacious mall is designed to be a community hub with a large atrium for local shows, events, exhibitions and other fun gatherings. Robinsons Place Roxas is a design marvel. The mall’s façade has tinted glass curtain walls and an attractive horizontal banding in beige with red wall accent, and elegant interior finishes.
The new development is also a testament to Robinsons Malls’ commitment to sustainability. Full-height showcase windows allow mall habitués to take advantage of natural lighting, and green spaces will be strategically placed throughout the development. “These will follow an Asian tropical landscaping design, where areas will be predominantly planted with tropical palms,” said Magtibay. The open parking area will also be landscaped to go with the theme.
Pueblo de Panay where Robinsons Place Roxas is located is fast emerging as the new city center of Roxas. The development includes a 7-hectare PEZA-recognized business park, a convention center, two hotels, several residential subdivisions, a church, and most importantly, the new central transport terminal. “When we build malls, we take into consideration their location. Robinsons Place Roxas’ proximity to the new transport terminal will no doubt ensure accessibility and convenience to the community,” notes Magtibay. Robinsons Place Roxas is expected to benefit from the strategic location of Pueblo de Panay which is bounded by the two major highways leading to and from the city.
BUTUAN: A FAST-RISING CITY
Touted as the center of commerce in the Caraga Region, Butuan City bustles with economic activities. It is the seat of regional government offices, and boasts the most number of banks and educational institutions in the region which explains why Robinsons Malls picked Butuan City as one of its “homes” with the opening of Robinsons Place Butuan.
Set to rise on a 7.9-hectare lot along the Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Iligan Road, Robinsons Place Butuan is a mixed-used development that that will feature a 42,157 sqm mall and a 102-room GoHotel to accommodate local and foreign tourists alike. The mall will house more than 200 tenants including Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Appliance, Handyman, a food court, four digital cinemas, and an amusement center.
The style-savvy locals will have a heyday shopping as Robinsons Place Butuan promises to bring in their favorite designer brands. Those who are passionate about all things delish can satisfy their cravings at the soon-to-open mall, which will showcase some of the best restos in the region.
Robinsons Place Butuan will also have a DFA Consular Office that will accept applications for new passports as well as renewals.
“We are bullish about the new Robinsons Place Butuan. Butuan not only stands at the crossroads to the major cities of eastern Mindanao, but also has a big catchment area consisting not only of Agusan del Norte but also Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur,” enthuses Arlene G. Magtibay, General Manager of Commercial Centers Division of Robinsons Land.
MALOLOS GROWS AND DREAMS WITH THE COMMUNITY
Robinsons Land continues to pursue its strategy of opening more commercial centers in strategic cities north of Metro Manila with the opening of Robinsons Place Malolos in Bulacan, which is RLC’s second in the province.
Robinsons Place Malolos is situated along MacArthur Highway within close proximity to all the commercial, educational and government institutions.
“Malolos being one the premier cities in Bulacan, Robinsons decided to pursue the development of a full-service mall that will elevate the malling experience of mallers not only in Malolos but also the neighboring towns of Hagonoy, Calumpit, Paombong, Apalit and many more,” explained Magtibay.
The new mall is a four-storey development which boasts a multi-level parking area, and close to 200 tenants with Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Department Store, Handyman, Robinsons Appliance Center, and Robinsons Movieworld as anchor tenants. A food court that will showcase the best of Bulacan’s food and culinary treasures is an added bonus.
