Parkour goes Hardore in WWFX Champions Tour main event

The  WWFX Heavyweight Championship Belt

Two of professional wrestling’s most gifted and talented natural athletes,  John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin go head to head for the first ever WWFX World Heavyweight Title tonight (February 4) at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

In a match that looks to be much better than recent WWE and TNA championship matches, the clash of the two former WWE superstars will be the main event of the WWFX Champions Showcase Tour 2012 in Manila.

Morrison, who now goes by his real name John Hennigan (due to WWE copyright issues) promises to take his unique Parkour style and go Hardcore to try to thwart the experience and technical ring savvy of Benjamin.

The two multi-champions of the WWE are known for both their grappling skills and their aerial maneuvers and have provided countless highlights and WTF! moments to almost every WWE PPV they have been part of.

A shirtless Chris Master tries to intimidate MVP
In the co-main event, former WWE United States Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and Intercontinental Champion, MVP takes on the Masterpiece Chris Master (without an “S”) in what is guaranteed to be one of the hardest hitting, physically tolling brawls on the tour.

The card also features a divas match as former WWE Divas Champion Jillian Hall tries to exact some revenge on the woman who took her title– Melina.

Other matches include the Warmachine Rhyno vs. the Straight Edge Society Enforcer Luke Gallows, Mean Gene Snitsky vs Carlitos (with an S), D-Generation X original member Bad Ass Billy Gun vs Jimmy Wang Yang and Hurricane Helms vs Great Khali’s former manager Daivari.

The WWFX Tour features the most former world champions on one card than any other event held in Manila.

While most were not able to reach the popularity levels of a “John Cena” or a “CM Punk” everyone on the WWFX roster has been part of WWEs most exciting matches and have established themselves as great workers since they left the WWE and wrestled in the independent circuits.
