I’ve always considered Chili’s as a “reward” restaurant, a place reserved for celebrating life’s small victories and sharing the moment with a few friends and family. With its delicious and comforting food and its cozy atmosphere its easy to get lost in the moment and forget about time.
It’s almost like an extension of home, except you don’t have to clean up afterwards.
For guests who have been coming to the American casual dining restaurant since it first opened in the country in 1996, dining at Chili’s has become much more than the bold Southwestern flavors it offers. It’s a place where young professionals hang out after office hours, where friends meet up and talk about sports, and where families host celebrations and parties to mark significant milestones and occasions.
And to keep guests coming back for more food and share more of life’s stories Chili’s launches its new tagline, More Life Happens Here (MLHH) with new dishes meant to be savored and shared with family and friends.
#MoreLifeHappensHere sums up the memorable dining experiences in every Chili’s visit. More Life signifies everyone’s need to connect and belong — whether it’s about a particular food that brings back feel-good memories of home, a drink that reminds of a happy occasion, or a celebration that draws loved ones together.
“It gives us joy to be witnesses to every bonding and every celebration that happens from table to table—defining the true Chili’s experience. This is the essence of our new tagline, More Life Happens Here,” says Chili’s Philippines marketing manager Laine de Jesus-Vallar.
Chili’s Your Way
Part of the signature Chili’s experience is the way guests feel special as soon as they are welcomed by the server and seated behind the familiar tables, with interiors that evoke modern Americana against hints of Southwestern influences.
There’s also the added perk of being able to choose what sides to go with your entrée available when you order any of Chili’s three new dishes — Fried Quesadilla Bites, Bacon & Cheddar Steak and Parmesan Chicken or Tilapia.

Flavor and texture beautifully come together with every bite of Parmesan Chicken or Tilapia, a slice of perfectly cooked chicken breast or tilapia fillet (depending on the guest’s preference) crusted with Parmesan and Monterey Jack cheese to seal the meat’s natural juices. It’s finished off with a drizzle of chili butter for a bit of heat and sprinkled with spring onions. The Parmesan Tilapia is my personal favorite of all the new dishes with just the right crunchy salty crust and the fresh soft fillet doing the tango on my taste buds.

People who love their food fried can’t go wrong with the, golden flour tortilla nibblers stuffed with Southwest chicken and cheese, sprinkled with chopped cilantro and served with chipotle sour cream. A perfect way to start the conversation and your meal, one order just isn’t enough.

Bringing three of my favorite things together Chili’s Bacon and Cheddar Steak is the ultimate protein indulgence with succulent Southwest seasoned steak topped with bacon and melted cheddar cheese. Just make sure you tell your server how you want your steak done.
All three dishes come with a choice of two sides, so you can have “Chili’s your way.” Pick the perfect match to your meal from homestyle fries, corn-on-the-cob, Chili’s cilantro rice and fresh veggies to the staple steamed white rice, mashed potatoes and broccoli spears.

Don’t forget to leave room for dessert and try the new Banana Bread Pudding. As sinful as it is decadent, it’s banana bread pudding topped with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, chopped walnuts and caramel drizzle.
A great drink to try, their Sparkling Soda is a fruity and refreshing concoction of strawberry puree and soda that’s a certified must-try on your next visit to Chili’s.
More Chili’s stores to serve you
Chili’s Philippines continues to grow as it opened more stores during the last couple of years. Aside from its branches in Greenbelt 5 in Makati, Greenhills in San Juan, and Tomas Morato in Quezon City, Chili’s now has restaurants at the Power Plant Mall, Mega Atrium in SM Megamall, Alabang Town Center, and at the Fairview Terraces, which opened this June.
Whether you’re craving great food, bonding with friends over casual conversations or a laid-back vibe to enjoy a glass of margarita, there’s always a table waiting for you at Chili’s, where “More Life Happens!”
