71 Gramercy was on an even higher plane recently, as it raised glasses to one of the year’s most celebrated occasions by those who love the nightlife. Manila’s beautiful people including top models, celebrities and other famous personalities came garbed in full Halloween regalia to party the night away.
According to Fabio Ide, part-owner of 71 Gramercy and host of one of the week’s themed parties, the New York-style bar of Manila’s tallest residential skyscraper is usually packed on special occasions, especially All Hallows’ Eve. As expected, familiar faces came flowing like pumpkin butter that night including Ruffa Guttierez, Bubbles Paraiso, Phoemela Baranda, Mark Nelson, Rovilson Fernandez, Tony Toni, JM Rodriguez, Franco Mabanta, and Manolet Dario.
What made this year different is when Lumia 730 Dual Sim which became locally available on October 31, were handed out to some guests to capture photos of the colorful costumes. Some of the more interesting ones included actor, Alexander Diaz’s pirate costume; The Little Mermaid’s villain, Ursula by celebrity stylist, Liz Uy; actress and VJ, Yassi Pressman as Cruella De Vil; actress/singer, Denise Laurel dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen; Fabio came as Count Dracula; Some guests painted their faces like skulls, one came as a prisoner, and another, a slice of pizza.
