JESSICA SANCHEZ PLAYS FRIDA ROMERO ON GLEE (FIRST SEEN ON JACKTV AND ETC)

American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez is set to shake things up on Glee as she appears as Frida Romero, a student from a rival glee club. Her character has been described as a powerhouse singer and diva.

The 17-year old Filipino-American vocalist will make her acting debut on the hit musical drama Glee on April 25 in the U.S. Filipino fans will be able to catch the episode via satellite on April 26, Friday at 4PM on JackTV and ETC. She will then return on Friday, May 10 (Philippine time) to perform on the show’s Season 4 finale.

The Golden Globe and Emmy awarded musical comedy follows a group of motivated and gifted students who look to escape the realities of high school life by joining a glee club. Sanchez will be appearing alongside the multi-awarded ensemble cast that includes Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Harry Shum Jr., Darren Criss, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist and Becca Tobin.

In the past Glee has featured guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers, including Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow who both won Emmy Awards for their guest appearances on the show. Filipino singer Charice also made an appearance in Glee Season 2 as Sunshine Corazon, an exchange student from the Philippines.

Glee is seen first in the Philippines on JackTV and ETC, who airs episodes via satellite just hours after its initial U.S. broadcast.

Glee Season 4 airs every Friday via satellite at 4PM with a primetime telecast at 8PM on both JackTV and ETC.
