Genie in an app baby! SPINNR grants fans’ wishes

Jan Louise Perez, a certified Lovatics fan is among the lucky Spinnr users. “I have waited for two years to see my idol and finally this is it,” she shared before counting down the much awaited meeting with “her” Demi Lovato. She already calculated how she would carefully spend her seconds with her idol, “I planned all the things that I will do and say once I am in front of her and I need to grab all the opportunity that I can get just to tell her how much I love her.”

Being swept in the moment is an understatement for 22-year old Keith Lagbao, another SPINNR subscriber who mingled with Lovato during the star’s recent Manila stint. Having secured her very first Android phone this year, she didn’t think twice about downloading Spinnr to satisfy her musical cravings, particularly eyeing Lovato’s hits. “Nag-hi siya. Sabi ko ‘Hi Demi, welcome to the Philippines.’ Nag ‘I love you’ ako sa kanya and nag ‘I love you’ din siya,” she related of her Lovato moment. “Sobrang thankful po ako kasi dream come true po talaga na ma-meet siya.”

Up close and personal with Ariana

Part of this summer’s meet-and-greet stretch was sending a subscriber to L.A. to see the Ariana Grande concert and of course, a special fan moment with the 21-year old international pop star. “I’m very very thankful! I can’t even explain it,” raved 13-year old Fiona Uy, who enjoyed an all-expense paid trip to LA for the experience of a lifetime with Ariana Grande.

 

Uy was ecstatic over the fulfilling experience she has been receiving from her SPINNR subscription. “I just needed an app for my music needs,” she explained. “I felt really shocked [when I was informed that I won the promo] that I didn’t know what to say. I was so happy!” she said with excitement still all over her voice. But there’s more. Aside from the concert and meet-and-greet experience, Spinnr also gave the young fan a tour around the star-filled Hollywood area and Disneyland. It simply can’t any better than that.

Privy to the person behind the superstar

Back in Manila, long-time SPINNR user Paulina Guinto experienced the biggest “Prismatic” concert tour of Katy Perry with over 30,000 concertgoers at the Philippine Arena. But Guinto wasn’t just high with Perry’s music and visuals, she also witnessed Katy Perry’s beautiful heart during her meet-and-greet with the songstress before the start of the concert.

Because of SPINNR, Guinto got the chance of a lifetime to meet her idol. “One of the fans who were lucky enough to be included in the meet-and-greet was struggling with Autism and she (Katy) focused on that girl, which is totally fine with the rest the group and we even love her more for that,” recalled Guinto who described how Perry extended minutes with the fan with special needs. That moment will stay forever with Guinto who exclaimed, “I love Spinnr so much that I will be a Smart Subscriber forever!”

Guinto best summed up what all these meet-and-greet activities are worth by naming the chance of a lifetime after a Katy Perry song, “[It’s like] ‘International Smile’ because SPINNR does that… Make everyone smile.”
