From Delight to Fright

Aside from “The Walking Dead” this is the only show I’m watching these days. Its a fright fest, thriller and a sexy psychological  roller coaster all rolled into one.

Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk take a turn for the dark side as they take inspiration from classic 1970’s horror movies to come up with their latest show, American Horror Story. The horror series, set to premiere on November 11, Friday at 8PM on Jack TV follows the Harmon family as they make the move from Boston to Los Angeles.

Dylan McDermott plays Dr. Ben Harmon, a handsome therapist who moves across country with his wife Vivien (Connie Britton) and daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga).

Moving into a large, restored San Francisco house in an attempt to rebuild their family after a miscarriage and an affair, it is only when they arrive that they are told the previous owners died in the house. As they settle down into their new home, the more things get weirder and the people they meet get stranger.

Viewers need to prepare themselves for one scary, freaky ride as the line between reality and the unknown blur before your very eyes. Don’t miss an episode of this all-new thriller as you learn more about the Harmon’s new home and its former residents. Debuting in the US last October on FX, the series is the network’s highest-rated debut series ever delivering 5 million viewers. Due to the strong premiere and increasing ratings American Horror Story has already been picked up for a second season.

American Horror Story also stars Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as Constance, the Harmon’s neighbor and Golden Globe winner Frances Conroy as the Harmon’s housekeeper.
