Now on its fourth year, expect another grand, exciting, and fun food-filled weekend on October 11-12 2014, from 10am – 8pm at its new venue – the Rockwell Tent in Makati City.

Last Saturday, we got a little sneak peek of the mouthwatering finds at BFF2014, so watch this video and learn more about, these young entrepreneurs and their creations.

For those looking to quench their thirst with something organic, you might want to The Daily Jusa. The newest juice cleanse in Manila is strangely delicious and at Php 150 per bottle its one of the more affordable alternatives out there.

Big Dog’s Kitchen on the other hand showcases some very interesting buns, such as the B.M.C. Broccoli, Mushrooms and Chicken, Mojo roasted pork, ham, pickles, and swiss cheese and coffee and cubano pairing. If you’ve got the appetite, they have the sandwiches for you.

What do you get when you two sisters share a common love for baking?  Its called Love, Agnessi, and one of the most delicious cookies I’ve tasted in a while. You know there’s a lot of love put in every piece, best enjoyed with a glass of milk and an afternoon cuddle.

Another sister duo is behind Kooky Pam. Made from the best ingredients, their cookies are big in size and flavor, with a soft chewy exterior that melts in your mouth. Each cookie is individually wrapped and each box of 5 costs Php 200. Make sure you try the Red Velvet with Cream Cheese.

My favorite discovery of the day was VoilaJars, instant Cakes that are both delicious and so easy to make. All you have to do is is put a few tablespoons of water and put it in a microwave for a minute or two and Voila! you dont even have to remove it from the Jar!

Deep Dips creator Chef Arnold Bernardo was not kidding about Lick the Spoon, because you will really be licking your spoon once you get a taste of his tuna, eggplant, mushroom, tinapa and even gourmet bagoong with chocolate! Just a spoonful–ulam na!

I missed out the recent Marmalade Kitchen event, but finally got to taste some one of its famous baked goodies the Dark Chocolate Cookie, need to schedule a visit asap!

Finally sponsors Kewpie and Carnation also had something prepared for us guests, Kewpie mayonnaise is one of the most famous Japanese condiments company and has been around for almost a century now.  BESTFOODFORWARD2014 (43)

Indeed, there is more to food than meets the eye at Best Food Forward. It has the power to continue bringing kith and kin together, convert strangers into friends, gather the food industry’s who’s who, and at the same time, happily give newcomers an avenue to be discovered in the bustling food scene.

From a meager 2-day attraction for a few hundred people during its very first staging in 2011, Best Food Forward is sure to surpass its attendance of over 6,000 food-lovers for its 4th year! With various specialty food stalls, innovative cooking demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances, family attractions, celebrity guests, and many more, its vibe and atmosphere will definitely make this event the most memorable to date – one that surely can’t be missed!

Best Food Forward is co-presented by Carnation and Kewpie. It has also partnered with Coca-Cola Philippines, Center for Culinary Arts Manila, Marmalade Kitchen, Good Life, Clara Ole, Lee Kum Kee, San Remo, Tabasco, Elba, Sun Cellular, E-Plus, Make Believe Productions and Grab Taxi.
