Bell-Kenz Pharma Receives BizNews Asia Management Excellence Award

— A Recognition Rooted in Service to Filipinos

Bell-Kenz Pharma Inc. has been honored with the BizNews Asia Management Excellence Award, a milestone handed to Medical Director Dr. Luis Raymond T. Go by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos and BizNews Asia founder Tony Lopez during the publication’s 24th anniversary celebration at New World Makati.

The recognition points to something bigger than corporate wins — it highlights the company’s role in reshaping access to healthcare in the Philippines.

Dr. Go accepted the award on behalf of the Bell-Kenz community, saying the distinction reflects “the hard work, vision, and dedication of every member of the Bell-Kenz family,” and underlining their north star: making high-quality, affordable medicine available to Filipinos.

“Every decision we make, every innovation we pursue, is driven by the desire to improve the health and well-being of our fellow Filipinos,” he shared.

From four employees to a nationwide movement

Founded in 2006, Bell-Kenz began as a four-person operation with three products. Today, it employs 471 professionals and carries 60 trusted brands, many of which have eased the cost burden for Filipinos facing chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.

By creating quality yet affordable treatment options, the company has helped families stay on lifelong medication without breaking their budget — a seemingly simple shift that has strengthened compliance, improved outcomes, and raised overall healthcare standards across the country.

As Dr. Go puts it:

“Every peso saved on medicine can be redirected to nourishing food, education, or a safe home — this is how we contribute to nation building.”

More than medicine — a culture of care

Bell-Kenz’s footprint goes beyond pharmacy shelves. The company has consistently supported physicians through education grants, training programs, and access to advanced medical knowledge. During the pandemic, it was one of the local firms providing PPE, face shields, air purifiers, and essential medicines to frontliners and vulnerable communities — a gesture aligned with its values of Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, and Unity.

Looking ahead to its 20th year

As Bell-Kenz approaches two decades in the industry, it remains anchored on the same purpose that launched it — healthcare that is both sustainable and equitable. The Filipino-owned pharmaceutical company says it will continue pushing innovation while holding on to the principles that shaped it: integrity, empathy, and a commitment to leave no Filipino behind.
