The countdown starts as Mineski-Events Team (MET), the premier electronic sports event organizer of the Philippines, announces the details of this year’s Mineski Pro-Gaming League South-East Asian Grand Finals (MPGL SEA Grand Finals).
The grand finals event will be happening on November 29-30 at the SM City North EDSA Sky Dome and Cyberzone. The prize pool is at 1 million Philippine pesos (or US$22.2 thousand U.S. dollars) and it is continually increasing through community contributions such as in-game purchases, Mineski Infinity cybercafé promos, online donations, and revenues from the Secretshop.ph online store.
This would be the biggest prize pool so far in Philippine Dota 2 history. The best teams from various countries around the South-East Asian region will battle at the Sky Dome stage for their share in that prize pool and to determine who will be this year’s grand champion.
The following countries have confirmed their participation in this year’s MPGL SEA Grand Finals:
1. Indonesia
2. Malaysia
3. Myanmar
4. Open Qualifier (Australia/India/Japan/Korea/etc.)
5. Philippines
6. “Rest of SEA” (Brunei/Cambodia/East Timor/Laos/Vietnam)
7. Singapore
8. Thailand

ViewSonic Corporation, a company based in California managed to get into the league during the first half of the year. Their inclusion added a wide variety of Gaming Monitors which our League players enjoyed.
