Your Earbuds Can Now Take Notes: soundcore Launches AI-Powered Liberty 5 Pro Series in the Philippines
Most people buy earbuds for music, workouts, or surviving Manila traffic. The new Liberty 5 Pro Series from soundcore is trying to add something else to that list: productivity.

At this year’s Anker Day Philippines held at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, soundcore officially launched the new Liberty 5 Pro Series, and it feels like the brand is trying to turn earbuds into tiny AI assistants you can wear all day.
Headlining the launch are the Liberty 5 Pro Max and the Liberty 5 Pro, two premium true wireless earbuds packed with AI-powered features, adaptive sound technology, smarter noise cancellation, and even productivity tools that sound more laptop than earbuds.
The biggest flex here is the new Thus™ AI chip platform, Anker’s first neural-net AI system unveiled globally during Anker Day in New York last May 21. Instead of processing information the traditional way, Thus™ uses something called compute-in-memory architecture, allowing AI tasks to happen directly inside memory for faster and more efficient performance.

That sounds incredibly technical because it is. But in real life, it basically means your earbuds can react faster, process voice better, and run smarter AI features without draining battery life too quickly.
“Today’s consumers expect more than just audio performance,” said Barney Chen during the launch. “They want technology that adapts naturally to the way they work, move, communicate and live. The Liberty 5 Pro Series represents our vision for the future of personal audio – intelligent, effortless and deeply personal.”
One of the most impressive parts of the Liberty 5 Pro Series is its call clarity system. Both models use a 10-sensor fusion setup combining eight MEMS microphones and two bone conduction sensors. The earbuds analyze both environmental sound and vibrations from your skull to isolate your voice during calls.
Translation? Kahit maingay sa café, airport, o commute, mas malinaw ka pa rin maririnig.
soundcore says the technology already earned the Liberty 5 Pro a Guinness World Records recognition for the “Highest speech quality score (Generalized Mean Opinion Score) for TWS earbuds” in objective testing.
The Liberty 5 Pro Series also introduces Adaptive ANC 4.0, which monitors surrounding noise up to 384,000 times per second and automatically adjusts the level of noise cancellation depending on your environment. The system is also designed to reduce that weird pressure feeling some ANC earbuds give after long listening sessions.

For users obsessed with personalized sound, there’s HearID 5.0, which creates a listening profile based on your hearing sensitivity and listening habits. Pair that with AI Sound Enhancement, and the earbuds attempt to restore audio details usually lost during wireless compression.
The standard Liberty 5 Pro already sounds loaded on paper. It supports lag-free voice controls processed directly on the earbuds and even includes a smart touch display built into the charging case. You can adjust ANC, switch EQ settings, manage playback, and answer calls without pulling out your phone.
But the Liberty 5 Pro Max is where things start getting wild.
soundcore calls it the world’s first smart-screen earbuds with an integrated AI Note-Taker. The charging case itself features a 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen powered by the new VibeOS DT system. Beyond controlling music and ANC, the case can also handle recording, real-time transcription, speaker identification, AI-generated summaries, and follow-up task organization.
Yes, your earbuds can now take meeting notes.
The case supports up to 12 hours of local recording with encrypted storage and cloud transcription processing, turning it into something closer to a wearable productivity gadget than a simple audio accessory.

Both models support Bluetooth 6.1, three-device multipoint connectivity, Apple Find My, Google Fast Pair, IP55 dust and water resistance, and up to 28 hours of total battery life with the charging case.
The Liberty 5 Pro Max retails for ₱12,995 and comes in Midnight Black and Titanium Gold. Meanwhile, the Liberty 5 Pro is priced at ₱9,995 and is available in Pearl Blue, Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Rose Gold.
Customers who purchase the Liberty 5 Pro Series from May 23 to June 23, 2026 through Anker stores nationwide will also receive an extended warranty of up to 24 months. The earbuds will also be available via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and authorized dealers nationwide.
The interesting part about the Liberty 5 Pro Series isn’t just the audio anymore. A lot of premium earbuds already sound good. What soundcore is betting on is that people now want their gadgets to think, adapt, organize, and work alongside them throughout the day.
“Today’s consumers expect more than just audio performance,” said Barney Chen, GTM of soundcore Philippines, during the Anker Day Philippines. “They want technology that adapts naturally to the way they work, move, communicate and live. The Liberty 5 Pro Series represents our vision for the future of personal audio – intelligent, effortless and deeply personal.”
And honestly? The idea of earbuds quietly transcribing your chaotic meetings while blocking out Manila traffic sounds very tempting.
