AirAsia is recognised as Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline ninth year in a row and Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for eight consecutive years

AirAsia celebrated a double victory at the 2024 World Travel Awards Asia and Oceania ceremony in Manila, securing recognition as Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline for the ninth consecutive year and Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for the eighth year in a row.

AirAsia’s leading edge in the two major categories was secured once again, as voted by consumers, industry and travel professionals..

Held at the City of Dreams inside Entertainment City in Parañaque City, AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla and Head of Communications and Public Affairs First Officer Steve Dailisan together with Allstar cabin crew, proudly represented AirAsia and accepted the award on behalf of the Aviation Group.

Aside from sustaining their accolades, AirAsia also lauds the Department of Tourism and Secretary Ma. Christina G. Frasco, who was accorded the Transformational Leader Award in Tourism Governance for promoting Philippine tourism.
