Solo Leveling and Kaiju No. 8 Headline SM North EDSA’s Biggest Animezing North Season

Anime fans have plenty to look forward to over the coming months as SM North EDSA officially unveiled its Animezing North 2026 lineup, bringing four of the world’s biggest anime franchises to The Block Atrium through a series of immersive fan experiences.

Now on its fourth year, Animezing North has become one of the country’s biggest destinations for officially licensed anime events. Rather than simple displays, each activation recreates the atmosphere of its featured series through themed exhibits, interactive attractions, exclusive merchandise, photo opportunities, and fan-focused experiences.

Leading this year’s lineup is Solo Leveling, which runs from July 3 to 14. The event marks the first official Solo Leveling activation ever held in the Philippines, giving local fans the chance to experience the hit series beyond the screen.

The excitement continues in August with another Philippine first as Kaiju No. 8 arrives at The Block Atrium from August 3 to 16. One of the fastest-rising modern anime franchises, the series joins this year’s lineup before making way for the return of One Piece, which comes back for its fourth Animezing North run from August 18 to 30.

The celebrations don’t end there. Pokémon also returns to SM North EDSA this December, bringing another family-friendly attraction just in time for the holiday season.

Together, the four franchises showcase some of the biggest names in anime today. Visitors can expect larger-than-life installations, immersive interactive zones, themed photo spots, and official merchandise designed to bring each anime world closer to Filipino fans.

Animezing North has steadily grown into one of SM North EDSA’s signature attractions since launching in 2023. Last year’s edition featured official events for One Piece, Pokémon, DAN DA DAN, and Jujutsu Kaisen, helping cement the program’s reputation among local anime communities.

The initiative also received international recognition after earning a Bronze Stevie® Award for Innovation in Cultural or Community Events at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards held in Macau. The award recognized Animezing North’s creative approach to fan engagement while generating strong visitor traffic and supporting participating retailers.
