Redstone Media Productions Brings “BOOTLEG” Beatlemania To Manila

It was fifty years ago this month, when radio airwaves across America first played the strange new sound of “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” by a band called the Beatles.
Although Beatlemania had already begun in the UK, it was something new to the US audience who were unaware that a British invasion was about to begin
Teenage girls screamed and swooned at the sight of the four “Mop Tops,” as they became known, and that same audience sent Beatle records to the top of the charts in the UK in 1963.
And finally on February 1964, The Beatles — John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr — set foot in America for the first time.
Its been over five decades, and the Beatles have been long gone but their music remains as popular then as it is now. Now, Manila and Davao gets to relive Beatlemania through four individuals who have kept the Beatles alive in their performances.
RedStone Media Productions and Viva Live Inc. brings to Manila the BOOTLEG BEATLES– the most acclaimed tribute group from London, that provides the closest thing to a true Beatles experience.
The Bootleg Beatles in Concert will be held at the Plenary Hall of the PICC on Roxas Boulevard on January 17, 2014. This show will be followed by another performance at the SMX Convention Center in Davao on January 18, 2014 and then also on January 19 at the Grand Ballroom of the Solaire Resort and Casino, the Bootleg Beatles’ official residence while in Manila.
The Bootleg Beatles was formed in 1980. Envisioned as a tribute band, the group has performed in sold out concerts all over the world. Playing the leads are Adam Hastings as John Lennon; Steve White as Paul McCartney; Andre Barreau as George Harrison; and Hugo Degenhardt as Ringo Starr on drums, percussion and vocals. They all sing and play musical instruments and look like the Beatles.
