Modern Shanghai wishes everyone great merriment and prosperity as it celebrates Chinese New Year on February 12 with delectable dishes that have recently been added to its menu.

Roasted Asado and Pork

Begin with the Seaweed Soup. It’s an auspicious way to start one’s meal since seawood is deemed healthy and packed with nutrients.

Or you can choose another dish, the Seafood Hotpot – brimming with fresh seafood such as dory fillet, squid, shrimp, crabstick, squid balls and fish cake.

Roasted Crispy Pork

There are assorted roasts as well – Roasted Crispy Pork (crunchy skin and fork tender meat served with hoisin sauce); Roasted Asado Pork (sweet and savory, a mainstay in any Chinese restaurant) and the Roasted Chicken and Pork Platter (mouth-watering chicken and pork pieces in one plate so you get the best of both meats).
