Just like the slices of PIZZA, there is always a story behind each bite.
I’ve always considered pizza as one of man’s greatest culinary creations. I cant think of anything better or easier to order when eating with groups . It can also be prepared and “designed” according to your preference–meat lovers, veggie only, seafood, pure cheese, and whatever toppings you could imagine.
So its not surprising that friends bond and share their stories over pizza. When I was still working for a call center, our Team Leaders would entice the group with pizza party incentives– and no matter how often it happens, it always proved to be very effective.
I’ve got a lot of Pizza stories of my own– about love, breakups, celebrations, but I guess the most memorable has got to be during the CPK event launch for this campaign. I was on my way out and was thanking ms JingJing Romero and her stafff at Stratos PR for inviting me, when one of the managers approached me when she heard my name…she said “Mr. Ed Uy? “Yes,” I said. “You’re one of our regular customers at our Trinoma branch right?” It was the first time I’ve seen her and it was kind of flattering to be recognized– I just hope she knows me in a positive way… which I intend to find out on my next visit at Trinoma 😀

Starting February 24, upload your pizza story snapshot or short video to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube. Add the hashtags #MyPizzaStory, #EveryPizzaTellsAStory and #CPKPhilippines. To get a free treat from your friends at CPK, like CPKPhilippines on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and share the link of your pizza story to [email protected] with your full name, mobile number, date of birth and your favorite CPK location.
“Our latest campaign rides on the massive popularity of “selfies”, Oxford Dictionary’s 2013 word of the year,” says Archie Rodriguez, President and CEO of Global Restaurant Concepts Inc., the local partner of CPK. “People come to us for memorable dining experience of unique pizzas. As we believe that every pizza tells a story, we invite our guests to share their fun CPK moments on social media and reward them with special pizza treats.”
Every selfie or groupie will be rewarded with classic personal pizza favorite – Five Cheese + Fresh Tomato, The Original BBQ Chicken Pizza or Untraditional Cheese. A CPK Pizza Voucher will be emailed to them complete with details on how to redeem their prize. A participant will only be rewarded once regardless of the number of selfie or groupie entries. Submissions will be accepted until April 13, 2014.
