SURVIVOR: CAGAYAN PREMIERES ON JACKTV THIS FEBRUARY 27

The stunning golden shores of Cagayan make for the picturesque backdrop of the 28th Season of the Emmy Award-winning series, Survivor. Returning to JackTV this February 27, Thursday with a 2-hour premiere episode via satellite at 3PM with a primetime telecast at 8PM; Survivor: Cagayan is the first in the show’s history to divide the castaways into tribes based on their beauty, brains and brawn.

Survivor: Cagayan also marks the long-running reality show’s fourth successive season set in the Philippines, and the second set in the Northern Province. Prior to Cagayan, two consecutive seasons were shot in the Caramoan Islands, Camarines Sur.

Eighteen new castaways will be split into three tribes—Aparri (Brawn), Luzon (Brains), and Solana (Beauty)—reflecting the unique qualities that they bring to the game. The division will test whether there is any proof to the pre-conceived notion that these certain characteristics will assist you in winning Survivor.

Castaways this season include retired NBA All-Star Cliff Robinson, former NFL cheerleader Morgan McLeod, pro poker player Garrett Adelstein, former Miss Kentucky Teen USA Jefra Bland, nuclear engineer J’Tia Taylor and martial arts instructor Woo Hwang.

All castaways will compete to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
