Huawei continues win streak at the Philippine Quill Awards

Huawei recently bagged three major awards at the  prestigious annual Quill Awards  given by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.

The global tech giant took an Award of Excellence in three separate categories:

  • Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communications
  • Media Relations and
  • Social Media Programs for its campaign entitled Huawei: The Making of a Challenger Brand Through the Introduction of the Huawei P9.

The Quill awards  honor companies and creative agencies that displayed excellence in business communication.

The Huawei P9 campaign emphasized brand awareness and highlighted the Filipino consumers passion for photography. This in turn, led to the device being the most highly searched Huawei Smartphone in the country, apart from outselling its predecessor by five times tripling the brand’s market share in a span of just six months.
