Diageo Reserve hosted an evening of exquisite craft cocktails and bartending theatricality at Prohibition Liquor Lounge, Greenbelt 3 with two renowned mixologists – World Class 2013 Philippines Winner Allan King Roxas and special guest Luca Cinalli of Nightjar London – to introduce the World Class 50: the Definitive Drinking Guide.
The World Class 50: The Definitive Drinking Guide features 50 of the most innovative and talented bartenders from across the globe. Each bartender showcases the perfect location, the most inventive cocktail and the finest of ingredients and spirits that define the ‘must have’ fine drinking experience in their city; along with insider knowledge on the most sophisticated locations to stay, shop and dine nearby.

Aimed at placing mixology in the same league as other world-renowned culinary arts, the Guide highlights perspectives from international cocktail gurus – from industry legends like Julie Reiner and Salvatore Calabrese, to previous WORLD CLASS champions and bartending stars Tim Philips and Erik Lorincz. It also featuresAll 44 finalists who competed in the largest and most credible mixology competition in the industry – the Diageo Reserve World Class Bartender of the Year 2013, including our country’s very own Allan King Roxas, the first World Class Philippines Winner and representative to the Global Finals last July.

Luca Cinalli is currently the head bartender of Nightjar London, a speakeasy cocktail bar that has been listed among the ten best bars in UK just a year after it opened (2010), and landed the 18th spot in the Drink International Top 50 Bars in the World in 2011.
