Taiwan Medical Technology Seminar offers new solutions for Filipino medical professionals

The Taiwan Trade Center Manila (TAITRA), today held the 2019 Taiwan Medical Technology Seminar at the Centennial Hall of The Manila Hotel, to highlight the innovative treatment programs in the medical field.

As the fourth country in the world to Implement the hospital evaluation system after the U.S., Canada and Australia Taiwan champions in world-class medical services, such as sound senior care, advanced biotechnology, and smart medical systems and equipment.

With the theme “Bringing You a Total Solution in Healthcare,” the seminar highlights the increasing need for high quality human-centric medical care in developing societies like the Philippines.

The event gathers some of the top biotech innovators from the best and most advanced hospitals in Taiwan and will share their latest innovations to healthcare practitioners and professionals from around the Philippines.

Among the participating institutions are the Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital, Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital, ACT Genomics Co. Ltd., Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, E-Da Hospital, Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital, Taoyuan General Hospital, and the Taipei Computer Association.

Among the highlights of the presentation are the latest state-of-the-art treatments for complex diseases such as congenital heart disease, hepatic tumors, and cancer.

Participants were able to learn about how tech-driven patient information systems can enhance patient safety, healthcare quality, and effective cost management.

The seminar also presents an opportunity for doctors, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to connect with Taiwanese counterparts for future partnerships.

Aside from the Information drive, Taiwan also aims to establish a solid partnership with Filipino doctors and hospitals in providing access to advanced medical treatments for Filipino patients.
