Experience a Magical Christmas at the SM Supermalls

When I was growing up,  Christmas wouldn’t be complete without heading over to Cubao to watch the COD (Christmas on Display) show.

And I’m sure that for a lot of the Tito’s and Tita’s now,  they would agree that despite the simple  puppets  and animatronics it was probably the most awesome thing show we’ve seen back then.

Today, there’s been 3D light shows, gigantic Christmas trees, and other Christmas installations around the city to attract the Christmas crowd. But for the past several years, no other mall chain has created such splendid, and grand Christmas Displays than the SM Supermalls.

Just like the simbang gabi, puto bumbong and bibingka, and the family reunions, the Filipino Christmas will  never be over until you’ve had your photos taken even at one of these wonderfully designed displays at the SM Supermalls Malls.

In fact, a few years back I even helped bring several groups of bloggers to three SM Malls located in the south so that even those from the northern part of Manila can see the displays.

Truly, SM Supermalls has become more than just a shopping but also a  Christmas destination for all Filipinos and this year they’ve once again put together the  biggest and grandest magical Christmas celebration for the entire family to enjoy.

Yesterday, I joined a group of bloggers who went to three SM locations to check out their Christmas decorations and despite the terrible Friday traffic (it took us almost 7 hours) the trip was totally worth it. Too bad we didn’t enough time to shop!

The whole family can experience a one-of-a-kind magical holiday at SM Supermalls with a series of exciting activities, enchanting events and amazing Christmas deals featuring dazzling Disney centerpieces that kids and kids-at-heart will surely love.

“As we usher the joyful spirit of Christmas, allow us to thank you for celebrating this season with us and for choosing SM to create these special moments with your loved ones,” said Steven Tan, SM Supermalls senior vice president. “From our SM family to yours, we wish you a memorable and meaningful Christmas filled with love and wonderful cheers.”

Take a photo with Leo the lion, Hannah the panda, Gerry the giraffe, Hailey the hippo, Macky the monkey, Benny the bunny, Cyril the squirrel, and Ellie the elephant in front of the majestic 50-feet Christmas tree centerpiece.

Finally go see the biggest and cutest Disney Tsum Tsum Christmas tree at SM North EDSA. Towering 45-feet tall, the well-loved Disney Tsum Tsum Christmas tree is in the heart of T sum-tacuiar Christmas village where shoppers can stroll around the winter town and ride the majestic train with their favorite Disney characters.

Featured in 65 SM Supermalls nationwide, magical SM décor and Disneyand Pixar« themed holiday displays also include Mickey Mouse and Friends, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Disney Princesses, Cars, and Sofia the First. Aside from these amazing centerpieces, SM also presents pyromusical shows, illumination festivals and grand Christmas parades. The Festive Christmas entrance of SM Cherry Shaw

Even the SM Cherry Shaw supermarket had its own simple display to keep  its shoppers in a  festive mood while doing their grocery shopping

SM Supermalls also features Bears of Joy, an annual advocacy campaign dedicated to making more children happy every Christmas. This enables the customers to buy a pair of bears for PhP200 one bear for the customer to keep while the other bear is donated to charities, such as the Nayon ng Kabataan orphanage.

This year’s magical holiday celebration continues SM’s tradition of offering a whole new Christmas experience for everyone families, millennials, and the elderly alike to remember and cherish forever
