“The pandemic was not an excuse for us to stop operating,” says, Maylin Remo Natan, owner of Trucklane Corporation.

The pandemic might have slowed down many businesses in the country, but Maylin knew she had to keep going.

She had clients to service, employees to pay, and her own earnings to consider.

“You’ll have to find a way to make it work, lalo na sa logistics. I had client payments coming in collars and had to pay our suppliers in pesos before we could move forward.”

She also recalled the challenges of having to pay her employees which was difficulty because of the quarantine. “Thankfully, bukas ang BDO and it’s easy getting things done because they already know what we need.”

But because BDO branches remained operational, Maylin said was able to fulfill her duties, making sure that for Trucklane Corporation’s partners, employees and herself, life did not stop.

She said that’s why its important to choose the right partner and that during times like this, its critical that you can count on someone.
